iphone 5 will be bigger according to the newest released iphone 5 case

We case2case has recently received email from some Chinese factory, containing images of iPhone 5 cases. It is a company is located near Foxconn factory, which manufactures of Apple’s products such as iPad 2. The cases look thinner and tapered design and have similar or identical shape to the case unveiled by 9to5Mac a couple weeks ago. These cases have also the ringer on/off switch, rear-facing camera as well as slots for the earphone, what's more, it seems bigger.

You may have noticed this on our iPhone 5 case post earlier this week, but today comes the more important information. Our images were admittedly not very clear about the case’s thinness or if there was a “tear drop” as previously described by This is my next. Our new images are clear and there are appears to be a slight – not major – tear drop in the design. The case goes thick to thin from top to bottom. In addition, the sources who provided us with these two new cases have shared some dimensions. According to them, the case is 5 inches tall and 2.8 inches wide. These are tight cases so the iPhone 5 dimensions should only be a few millimeters smaller than those numbers. For comparison, the iPhone 4 is 4.5 inches tall and 2.31 inches wide.

With production of the iPhone 5 either underway or starting soon for a September release, small Chinese outlets may have a good chance of getting final design schematics. Many of them are likely keen to seize on the launch and may be hoping they can have a large number of cases in the channel by the time Apple is ready to sell. At least a few companies accurately produced iPad 2 cases just before the tablet became available.
